Duties & Responsibilities

- Support all aspects of our warehouse and logistics operations, helping the Warehouse Team deliver an exceptional service experience to every internal and external client.
- Participate in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and delivery prep, performing quality checks on all transactions.
- Step-by-step SKU reading and verification against manifests/POs.
- Timely opening of all product with priority on high-value items.
- Specific handling procedures for large, crated, heavy furniture (safe de-crating, equipment use).
- Careful unpacking protocols for delicate and breakable items.
- Damage documentation, photo flagging, and immediate reporting requirements.
- Labeling, tagging, and system entry expectations post-inspection.
- Workspace cleanliness and workflow readiness standards.
Warehouse Deluxing & Inspection – Detailed Process:
- Perform thorough deluxing and inspection of all items received into the warehouse, following established step-by-step procedures without exception.
- Accurately read and verify SKU numbers on every item received, cross-referencing against purchase orders, manifests, or inventory records to confirm correct product identification before processing.
- Open all incoming product in a timely and organized manner, prioritizing high-value items and time-sensitive shipments to ensure immediate processing and accountability.
- Handle large, crated, heavy furniture with proper equipment and team-lift techniques, safely dismantling crates, removing packaging, and inspecting for damage before logging receipt.
- Exercise exceptional care when deluxing delicate and breakable items, using appropriate unpacking methods to prevent damage, and immediately flagging any pre-existing issues with photo documentation.
- Inspect every item for shipping damage, missing components, or discrepancies at the time of receipt, documenting findings accurately in the warehouse management system before moving product to storage.
- Record item condition, SKU, quantity, and location with precise detail in the inventory system immediately upon inspection. Inaccurate or delayed entries are not acceptable.
- Apply proper receiving labels, location tags, and any required handling instructions to all items post-inspection.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with supervisors regarding damaged goods, missing items, or SKU discrepancies discovered during the deluxing and inspection process.
- Maintain a clean, organized deluxing and inspection area, disposing of packing materials properly and keeping the workflow station ready for the next incoming shipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks or delivery vehicles, ensuring every package is labeled and inventoried with precision.
- Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and correctly (e.g., dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Master the inventory management system; complete reports and track all incoming and outgoing shipments with detailed, accurate information.
- Maintain accurate records using tools such as Excel and Google Sheets, as well as our warehouse software. Productivity and data accuracy are essential in this role.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and efficient storage areas.
- Be observant and provide suggestions for improving warehouse processes. We are a collaborative team!
- Willingness to assist with local route deliveries when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team in a variety of capacities.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Driven, reliable, detail-oriented, and productive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow detailed processes precisely and consistently, including SKU reading, product inspection, and documentation protocols.
- Tech-savvy with strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office software.
- Comfortable using POS systems, warehouse inventory software, and digital tools to track and manage data.
- Organized and attentive to detail – accurate information is a non-negotiable expectation in this role.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and support diverse departments.
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments (lifting up to 75 lbs plus solo and 350 lbs with team-lift assistance), including standing for long periods.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to handle different client situations with professionalism.

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent – preferred
- Current valid driver’s license – required
- Forklift experience or certification – preferred
- Hands-on experience using Excel and Google Sheets – required
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or receiving/inspection experience – preferred
- Experience handling high-value, fragile, or specialty furniture and fixtures – a plus
- Comfortable working in time-sensitive, physical environments with strict accuracy requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes accurately
- Customer service mindset

● Schedule: Tuesday – Friday
● Compensation: Starting at $28.00
