Full Job Description

Small boutique law office in Bozeman, Montana with established client base. Our firm provides general civil litigation, family law and criminal defense services throughout Montana. Our law office has worked hard to develop long lasting relationships with in the Bozeman and surrounding communities.

We are seeking a full-time, proficient office manager beginning in Febrary 2025.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Answer phones and email inquiries

· Manage client intake, opening and closing legal files

· Manage client billing and receivables

· Create and mail invoices to clients, contact clients about past due bills and retainer replenishment

· Receive, catalogue, and distribute mail

· Maintain Court calendar dates within case management software

· Deliver Court filings, hand deliveries, and other errands including post office, bank and grocery store

· Maintain office spaces and supplies

· General office support

Candidate qualifications:

· Case management software

· Detail-oriented and organized

· Exemplary client-care (customer service) skills

· Ability to prioritize, multitask and self-start

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Computer skills including Google mail, Google docs, Google drive, Excel, Office 365, e-filing (can teach but needs to be technologically savvy)

· Able to manage a wide range of personalities

· Maintain client confidentiality

· Ability to lift 30 lbs., bend, reach, stand and sit for extended periods

· A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required

· Previous office administration experience required

Benefits offered upon completion of probationary period:

· Health insurance

· Paid time off and paid sick leave

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Compensation: Hourly, Starting at $22.00, DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
