Sales & Interior Design Assistant (Part-Time/Full Time Opportunities )
The Great Furniture Gallery & Design is looking for a friendly, organized, and creative individual to join our growing team as a Sales & Interior Design Assistant.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our Owner and Lead Interior Designer while also assisting customers in our beautiful showrooms. Every day is different—from helping design dream homes and selecting furnishings to staging showroom displays, coordinating projects, and assisting with installations.

What You'll Do
As our Sales & Interior Design Assistant, you'll support both our design and showroom teams by:
- Assisting customers in our Crosslake and Baxter showrooms
- Supporting our Lead Designer with residential and commercial design projects
- Helping create mood boards, furniture layouts, and design presentations
- Coordinating design projects and keeping them on schedule
- Communicating with clients, vendors, and manufacturers
- Researching and sourcing furniture, lighting, fabrics, accessories, and décor
- Assisting with client consultations, site visits, and installations
- Creating sales orders, processing invoices, and following up on customer orders
- Helping maintain beautiful, inspiring showroom displays
- Assisting with photography, social media content, and marketing projects
- Unpacking merchandise and preparing showroom displays
- Performing general administrative tasks to keep projects running smoothly
We're Searching For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Creative with an eye for design and home décor
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities
- A strong communicator with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs is a plus, but not required.
- Retail, furniture, or interior design experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.

Schedule
- Part-time (approximately 2–3 days per week)
- Must have availability Monday–Saturday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- No Sundays or holidays
- Occasional travel between our Crosslake and Baxter locations, client homes, and market events
