JOB SUMMARY
The Pinecrest Housing Coordinator is responsible for resident satisfaction, excellent service quality and daily operations. This individual will assist residents and their families with questions/concerns, tours, orientations, and help to determine the most desired housing community based on their unique set of wants and needs. This includes maintaining excellent communication and quality customer service skills with the residents, the residents’ families, and Pinecrest of Country Manor staff. The Pinecrest Coordinator is responsible for volunteer program development and supervision, activities, socials, and special events.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Continually meet requirements as defined by Minnesota Statute 144D.10 Manager Requirements. If applicant does not currently meet said requirements, applicant will agree to obtain this status within six month of hire.
- Post HS degree along with experience working directly with geriatric population.
- Genuine interest and willingness to work closely with the residents in an effort to make each resident’s life more satisfying and meaningful. Must be able to assess and understand their needs.
- Ability to display a great deal of patience, consideration and tact when dealing with residents, resident’s family members, visitors, and community members.
- Ability to work independently and use judgment when making decisions.
- Ability to professionally and effectively read, write and communicate in English, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Must have excellent organizational, time management skills and demonstrated computer skills.
- Proficient mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and 10-key calculation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help to maintain a high standard of resident satisfaction through a creative and social activity program. Show initiative by finding and sharing new and innovative ways to grow and expand the program activities.
- Must exercise discretion and use conflict resolution when responding to resident and family concerns.
- Facilitate tours for prospective residents as needed.
- Assist with orientation process for new residents and families.
- Establish programs for residents based on individual needs. Organize and assist with group and individual activities. Monitor attendance and participation.
- Facilitate decorating of designated areas i.e. seasonal and various approved themes.
- Assist with resident meetings. Encourage involvement from all residents. Communicate issues and concerns raised to the Executive Director, Pinecrest of Country Manor.
- Assist in monitoring change of status in residents and communicate issues of concern to the RN Case Manager. Maintain effective relationships with the Home Care staff.
- Lead and manage the volunteer program through recruitment, orientation, and scheduling of volunteers for various programs within the Campus.
- Create a monthly newsletter and calendar of events for residents and family members.
- Serve as a back-up for the functions of monthly billings, accounts receivables, deposits, and leases.
- Maintain positive working relationships with other departments.
- Administrative on-call rotation every other week.
- Support the Mission and Vision Statements of Pinecrest of Country Manor.
- Other duties as delegated by the Executive Director, Pinecrest of Country Manor.
