Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are washed and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. This position is essential in supporting our food service operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain health standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure efficient service delivery.
Participate in cleaning duties during closing hours to prepare the kitchen for the next day’s operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food service operations, including catering and banquet experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation practices in a kitchen setting.
A background in culinary arts or food handling is advantageous.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration with kitchen staff.
