Hammond Psychology & Associates is a well-established private practice in Brandon, Florida, dedicated to promoting mental wellness and empowering individuals to lead more balanced, fulfilling lives. Founded by award-winning psychologist Dr. Nekeshia Hammond, our team provides compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview

Hammond Psychology & Associates is seeking a licensed therapist (Psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) to join our growing private practice in Brandon, Florida.

We are especially interested in a clinician who enjoys working with children and adolescents, although opportunities are available to work with clients across the lifespan based on your clinical interests and experience.

This position begins part-time as you build your caseload, with the opportunity to grow into a fuller schedule if desired. Evening and/or Saturday availability is strongly preferred to help meet the needs of the families we serve.

Our goal is to allow clinicians to focus on providing excellent care while our administrative team supports the day-to-day operations of the practice.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and/or family therapy based on your areas of clinical competence and interest
Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and practice standards
Collaborate with team members and referral sources as appropriate to support quality client care
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and case consultation opportunities

Qualifications

Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
Active Florida clinical license (Psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT)
Experience working with children and/or adolescents strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Evening and/or Saturday availability strongly preferred
