PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE in our Shelton Location

Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist

The Speech Pathology Group and Rehab Services of CT is a highly passionate and skilled multidisciplinary team seeking a dynamic, talented, and fun-loving ABA therapist to join our pediatric-focused ABA Clinic.

RBT/BT’s Responsibilities:

Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format
Accurately implement skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
Maintain precise client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.
Accurately collect data specific to the client’s Behavior Support Plan & Skill Acquisition Programming
Maintain detailed records of client progress and services performed
Maintain precise client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc. : this should be changed to, use electronic medical system to collect data, and track client progress
Completes timely and thorough session notes as expected
Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client
Collaborate with professionals on the client’s treatment team as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.
Participate in initial and ongoing staff trainings as assigned, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement
Reports changes in client condition to supervisor
Assists with Activities of Daily Living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, etc.), when needed
Actively participates in supervision with the BCBA
Participates in both individual and group supervision
Functions and/or provides services with an awareness, sensitivity and understanding of cultural differences, similarities, and abilities
Provide high quality customer service

Qualifications/Requirements:

High school Diploma or higher education
Experience working with children (required)
Previous ABA experience (preferred)
Previous in-home and/or clinic based experience (preferred)
