Full Job Description

AXion Logistics is hiring day-cab tractor drivers to make local daily deliveries to locations inside petrochemical plants, performing multiple trailer deliveries each day. Pickup locations are at warehouse cross docks. Freight is palletized, bulk material, machinery, and industrial parts. Trailers are flatbed and tilt-deck Landolls.

Drivers will load and unload, and assist warehouse team, using forklifts and pallet jacks, and secure freight for safe travel. Forklift experience preferred.

Your shift will begin and end each day at Freeport, TX warehouse terminal. This is a full-time job, ongoing (not seasonal) 40-hour work week. When not loading or driving, you will be part of the AXion warehouse team performing other designated warehouse tasks.

Shift hours 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

Overtime is not guaranteed, but occasionally offered based on the demands of the business.

Requirements

Currently valid CDL - A license, with Hazmat Endorsement
Currently valid TWIC
Minimum of 2 years recent tractor with flatbed experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Employment subject to pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and criminal background checks.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, unassisted
Forklift experience required.

We have the experience and understanding required to efficiently manage routine Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO) materials, order spares, manage inbound delivery and receipt, provide preservation and maintenance services, and the dispositioning of surplus or obsolete material and equipment.
