Dog Trainer (Independent Contractor – Work From Home)

Off Leash K9 Training – Southern California
Service Areas: Orange County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule Options:

Part-Time: Board & Train for 1 dog at a time
Full-Time: Board & Train for up to 2 dogs at a time

Compensation

$1,100 per 2-week Board & Train
Full-time trainers typically average $3,800–$5,000 per month, depending on volume and availability

Training & Certification Requirements

Trainers must complete a 14-day hands-on training certification in Menifee, CA
Training tuition, travel, and lodging are the responsibility of the independent contractor
There is no fee charged by Off Leash K9 for company certification
Trainers must commit to using the Off Leash K9 training methodology and delivering results consistent with our client guarantees

Responsibilities

Board and train dogs in your home in a safe, structured environment
Deliver reliable obedience and behavior modification results
Follow Off Leash K9 training standards and protocols
Communicate professionally with clients
Provide video documentation of training progress when required
Maintain consistency with brand expectations and program delivery

Requirements

Ability to safely board at least one dog in your home (two for full-time)
Reliable transportation
Strong communication skills
Willingness to invest time and effort into professional development
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Commitment to ethical, consistent training practices
