We are seeking friendly, energetic and organized host or hostess/Takeout specialists to join our restaurant team for a full time or part-time positions. for our new location in Orange.

For takeout specialist/cashier/ Food runner: Has to be able to take phone orders, reservations and input orders from delivery tablets. Has to prepare salads and put together takeout orders with all items listed on the tickets. The host or hostess/Takeout specialist is the first person to interact with patrons, it is imperative that the host is friendly, personable, informative and professional. The host or hostess/Takeout specialist is the face of the restaurant and provides guests with their first impressions of the establishment. You must be patient, excel at customer service, and alert to guest needs. You will welcome patrons, seat them at tables or in lounge, and help ensure quality of facilities and service. Host or hostess/Takeout specialist receive cash tips from Takeout.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cashier, Food Runner and Takeout Specialist to join the team at our thriving restaurant. In this role, you will welcome guests, Take orders from counter for dining-in or takeout; and inform them of any specials. You will required to take orders over the phone, prepare items for takeout, salads, serve soups and run main entrees to tables. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a smile
Prepare front of the kitchen with salads, drinks, utensils.
Run food to tables.
Provide guests with menus and inform them of any available specials
Accept payment for meals and operate the cash register.
Do side work and at the end of night, clean and prepare dining room and front kitchen for next day.
sweep and mop dining room and work area.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is preferred
Friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
Familiarity with food safety guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
