About the Role:
The Bulk Receiving/Yard Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the efficient receipt and organization of bulk materials within a manufacturing environment. This position ensures that incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and stored in designated yard locations to maintain smooth production flow. The coordinator acts as a liaison between suppliers, transportation providers, and internal departments to facilitate timely deliveries and resolve any discrepancies. By maintaining detailed records and coordinating yard activities, this role supports inventory accuracy and operational safety. Ultimately, the Bulk Receiving/Yard Coordinator contributes to minimizing downtime and optimizing resource allocation across the manufacturing site.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in receiving, inventory control, or yard coordination within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.

Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with bulk material handling and yard management software.

Forklift certification or experience operating yard equipment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the receipt of bulk materials, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documents.

Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity compliance, reporting any damages or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.

Manage yard space allocation to ensure organized storage and easy retrieval of bulk materials.

Schedule and communicate with transportation providers to optimize delivery times and reduce yard congestion.

Maintain accurate records of all bulk receiving activities, including documentation, inventory updates, and reporting.
