Strong Quality Roofing LLC is a locally operated roofing and exterior services company serving residential and commercial customers throughout Middle Tennessee. We believe customers deserve honest information, clear communication, and quality workmanship from the initial inspection through project completion. We are building a team of accountable professionals who take ownership of their work and want to grow with the company.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative helps homeowners, business owners, property managers, and other property owners evaluate and complete roofing and exterior improvement projects. This customer-facing position combines relationship-building, property inspections, customer education, estimating, sales presentations, and consistent follow-up.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, comfortable working independently, and capable of earning customers’ trust. This is a performance-driven role with uncapped earning potential.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual earnings of $60,000–$100,000 based on individual sales performance
Guaranteed base compensation plus uncapped commissions

Key Responsibilities

Develop residential and commercial business through company-supported opportunities, customer referrals, networking, community involvement, and relationship-building.
Respond promptly to assigned opportunities and consistently follow up with prospective customers.
Conduct inspections of residential and commercial roofing and exterior systems.
Document property conditions accurately using photographs, measurements, notes, and company systems.
Meet with homeowners, business owners, property managers, commercial property owners, and insurance adjusters when appropriate.
Educate customers about roofing, siding, gutters, windows, painting, and other exterior improvement solutions.
Prepare and present professional estimates, proposals, project scopes, pricing, and contract terms.
Help customers understand available solutions without making representations about insurance coverage.
Obtain signed agreements and all required project documentation.
Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales and project process.
Enter customer information, inspection findings, photographs, documents, notes, and follow-up activities into the company CRM and related platforms.
Coordinate with production and administrative team members from contract execution through project completion.
Monitor assigned projects and help resolve customer questions promptly and professionally.
Request customer feedback, online reviews, and referrals following successful projects.
Meet established activity, sales, collection, and customer-service goals.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, community events, and company initiatives.
Represent Strong Quality Roofing professionally throughout the community.

Cold door-to-door prospecting is not a primary requirement of this position. However, Sales Representatives are expected to build relationships, generate referrals, network, and continuously develop their sales pipeline.

Qualifications

Three or more years of customer-facing sales experience preferred.
Roofing, construction, restoration, home-improvement, commercial property, or insurance-related experience is helpful but not required.
Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple customers, appointments, projects, and deadlines.
Comfortable discussing pricing, asking for the sale, and working toward performance goals.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, production, and administrative teams.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning CRM, estimating, measurement, photo-documentation, and communication platforms.
Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable under the company’s automobile insurance requirements.
Ability to pass job-related background and motor-vehicle-record screenings, where permitted by law.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

Ability to climb ladders and safely access residential and commercial roofing systems of varying slopes and heights.
Ability to inspect properties in heat, cold, and other outdoor conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and carry equipment during inspections.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to drive throughout Middle Tennessee for inspections, appointments, and company activities.
Availability for occasional evening or weekend appointments based on customer and business needs.
