With hundreds of restaurant, bar, and retail partners across Tennessee, our commitment to reliable distribution and product integrity in our climate-controlled facilities is second to none.

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and data driven Buyer / Planner to own the flow of product from our suppliers to our warehouse. Reporting directly to ownership, this individual will play a vital role in purchasing, coordinating inbound freight, and reconciling inventory.

You are joining us at an exciting time as we implement Blue Ridge, a cutting-edge, AI-powered supply chain planning platform. You will undergo comprehensive training alongside the rest of the company to adopt this system. The ideal candidate will leverage Blue Ridge to optimize inventory levels, refine safety stock parameters, and hit service level targets through statistical forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

Place and track purchase orders with suppliers based on inventory levels, demand, and lead times.
Monitor supplier delivery performance, pricing changes, and product availability.

Demand Planning & Optimization

Utilize Blue Ridge software to forecast demand, automate predictions, and reduce excess inventory.
Optimize inventory levels by making data-driven adjustments to safety stock parameters and analyzing service level targets.
Oversee statistical forecasting methods to anticipate supply and demand shifts in the highly regulated alcohol market.

Inventory Management & Recordkeeping

Maintain accurate inventory counts and execute periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and correct variances.
Generate inventory and purchasing reports for ownership to support decision-making.
Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready records for purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, and certificates of analysis or compliance documentation as applicable.

Qualifications

Required

2+ years of experience in inventory, procurement, purchasing, or logistics, preferably in distribution, wholesale, or warehousing.
High technical aptitude with a readiness to learn and adapt to new systems (specifically our new Blue Ridge software implementation).
Demonstrated experience with statistical forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization concepts (e.g., safety stock calculations, lead-time variance, service level targets).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and paperwork.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple suppliers and shipments.
Comfortable communicating with vendors and freight carriers.
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).

Preferred

Direct experience within the alcohol/spirits industry, food, or other regulated-product distribution.
Familiarity with freight coordination and carrier logistics.

Skills & Attributes

Analytical problem-solver who can handle shipment issues and discrepancies calmly.
Trustworthy with company purchasing and supplier relationships.
Clear communicator, both written and verbal.

Pay: $62,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
