KPMG is currently seeking a BTS Senior Associate Information Reporting and Withholding NYFS to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site guidance to withholding agents regarding compliance with information reporting requirements
Extend support to clients in relation to the technical and practical application of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations
Review work carried out by KPMG member firms globally during the performance of Qualified Intermediary (QI) audits, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) engagements
Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Recognize, research, and recommend resolutions to tax issues from moderate to complex
Develop and support risk assessments as well as implement appropriate tax procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of recent experience working at a Big four, law firm, or in a withholding agent environment focused on information reporting and withholding responsibilities
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and Juris Doctor/Master of Laws (JD/LLM), in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university is preferred
