Full Job Description

Job Summary

Assist U has an immediate opening for a Billing/Payroll Assistant located out of Bridgeport, WV to support our Union Flagging Employees.

Experience:

3+ years of experience with Payroll/AP/AR is preferred. Knowledge and experience with union payroll and reporting protocol is required. All candidates for this position must have at least a high school diploma/GED.

Daily Job Duties to include:

-Process AR/AP for location; ensure timely payments are received from customers as well as generated to clients

-Tracking, managing job sheets/daily field tickets to ensure timely billing

-Tracking expense reports

-Assisting with time collection issues to ensure that we can process both payroll and generate invoices with little to no error

-Assist with instituting controls to confirm and track data to support continuity through business

-Working with departments to prepare and process company payroll with high attention to detail

-Daily responsibilities including filing, data entry, and maintaining daily spreadsheets for departments

Required:

-Must have excellent organizational skills, knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

-Must have experience in union settings

-Must have good people skills

-Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (NO DUI's or excessive points)

-All candidates must be able to pass a standard criminal background check and work verification check as well as a standard drug screen and fit for duty physical.

-Expected work schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, in office, schedule may vary due to work demand.
