Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods. In this specific role, you will be in charge of the morning bread mixes, shaping, and preparing ingredients for the next day. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and contributing to a positive customer experience through exceptional product presentation. This position starts at 4am most days.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sourdough mixes, focaccia breads, and other dough mixes.
Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in product quality.
Ensure all baked goods meet food safety standards throughout the preparation process.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient supplies and placing orders as needed.
Collaborate with team members to create new recipes and improve existing ones.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about products and accommodating special requests.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry. Minimum 2 years.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts. More specifically breads.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and various baking tools.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
A passion for baking and creating delightful culinary experiences.
