Come join our team! We ar seeking a part time Medication Technician for 3pm-11pm!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient health, and providing personalized care to residents in a senior livingfacility. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents while maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized medication management and care.

Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

Safely administer prescribed medications to residents according to physician orders and facility protocols, including oral, topical, and injectable medications.
Monitor residents’ vital signs, health status, and responses to medications, promptly reporting any adverse reactions or concerns.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and medication records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Assist residents with personal care activities, including hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Follow strict confidentiality protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident information and maintain patient privacy.
Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and caregivers to coordinate comprehensive resident care plans.
Adhere to all state healthcare regulations and facility policies related to medication administration, resident safety, and infection control.

Requirements of the Medication Technician

Valid certification as a Medication Technician (CMT)
Proven experience working with geriatric patients in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication management procedures.
Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care.

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
