Full Job Description

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Brigham City is seeking a highly reliable, organized, and people-focused Store Manager to oversee daily café operations, lead the team, and help build a strong culture in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, accountability, structure, and being trusted to oversee the café’s day-to-day operations while working closely with ownership and upper management.

What You’ll Do

Daily Operations

Lead daily café operations with consistency, urgency, and professionalism
Oversee shift flow, staffing coverage, breaks, and operational execution
Ensure all stations meet brand standards for food quality, prep, cleanliness, and speed
Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready café at all times
Complete accurate opening and closing procedures
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and operational planning

Team Leadership

Serve as the primary point of leadership for crew members and shift leads
Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable to performance standards
Support training, onboarding, and continued development of team members
Help create a positive, professional, team-oriented culture
Address shift-level issues, guest concerns, and operational challenges confidently and professionally

Guest Experience

Deliver Unparalleled Hospitality on every shift
Maintain strong customer service standards while balancing speed and accuracy
Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally
Lead by example during busy periods and high-volume rushes

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

Assist with labor management and scheduling execution
Count tills, manage cash handling procedures, and prepare deposits
Support inventory counts, food cost management, and waste reduction
Ensure food safety, health code, and brand standards are consistently followed
Communicate effectively with ownership regarding café performance, staffing, and operational needs

What We’re Looking For

Prior leadership or management experience in food service, retail, or hospitality preferred
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
High personal accountability, professionalism, and reliability
Comfortable leading fast-paced shifts and making operational decisions
Ability to coach others while maintaining a positive team culture
Availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and some holidays
Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example
