Position Summary

The HR Administrator (non-exempt salaried role) supports day-to-day Human Resources operations at Parker Aerospace by providing high-quality administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with Parker policies, employment regulations, and company values. The HR Administrator serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while contributing to a safe, ethical, and high-performance workplace.

Essential Functions:

HR Administration & Compliance

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files in accordance with Parker policies and legal requirements
Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, job changes, transfers, and terminations
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as internal audits and reporting requirements
Ensure HR processes align with Parker’s ethics, safety, and operational excellence standards

Recruitment & Onboarding Support

Assist with job requisitions, postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Coordinate onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and new hire documentation
Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure a positive and consistent candidate and employee experience

Employee Support & HR Services

Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions related to policies, benefits, and processes
Support attendance, timekeeping, and leave administration in a manufacturing or plant environment
Assist with employee communications, HR initiatives, and engagement activities

Benefits & Payroll Coordination

Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment activities
Coordinate with payroll to ensure employee data accuracy and timely processing
Assist employees with basic benefits and payroll inquiries, escalating issues as needed

General HR Support

Support training coordination and maintain training and compliance records
Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in special HR projects that support Parker’s Win Strategy and operational goals

Qualifications:

College level coursework, professional Human Resources seminars or Human Resources program certificate
Bachelor degree preferred
1–3 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with HR systems
Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft a plus
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player. and able to adapt to changing priorities
Acting as the “face” of HR as team members come into the HR office, with an approachable and patient demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a plant or multi-shift workforce
Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems
Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Prior experience in a matrixed or global organization
