As Open Enrollment approaches, our client volume surges. I am looking for a sharp, driven, and reliable Sub-Agent to join the team immediately to help manage client flow, prep files, record data, and ensure every client receives exceptional support if they call or walk in.

Position Summary:
In this dual-focus role, you will split your time between critical administrative operations (organizing client files, scheduling, inbound client communications, and other office tasks as assigned) and sub-agent duties (consulting with clients, explaining health plan options, and assisting with Open Enrollment selections).
We are moving quickly to interview and hire for this role to prepare for the upcoming enrollment rush (Open/Annual Enrollment.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage front-office operations, coordinate client appointments, and maintain meticulous records in our CRM system.
- Client Onboarding & Prep: Assist clients with gathering documentation, reviewing policy changes, and preparing applications ahead of strict enrollment deadlines.
- Sub-Agent Duties: Educate clients on health insurance products (including Access Health CT / ACA plans and/or Medicare) and facilitate compliant plan selections.
- Pipeline Management: Track application statuses and follow up proactively with carriers and clients to resolve processing items.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
- Preferred Credentials: Active Connecticut Life and Health Insurance Producer License and AHIP certification.
- The Ambitious Learner (No License Yet?): If you do not currently hold these credentials, we are open to hiring the right motivated candidate and guiding you through obtaining them, provided you have a strong aptitude for quick studying and a fierce work ethic. (Note: Successfully obtaining and maintaining relevant licensing and AHIP certification as quickly as possible is a condition of employment for this role).
- Administrative Pro: Previous experience in an office environment, customer service, or a professional agency setting.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM software, digital calendars, and state/carrier insurance portals. Excel is used frequently, in addition to several other platforms and programs.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a warm, empathetic, and professional phone presence.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + unlimited commission (commensurate with experience and licensure)
