Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members, ensuring a smooth and professional experience at all times. Your positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities with efficiency will help foster a welcoming environment and support our office operations seamlessly. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Answer and manage high-volume, multi-line phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
Greet patients and complete check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect copays and balances.
Process referrals and obtain prior authorizations (PAs) as required by insurance plans.
Maintain accurate patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Scan, upload, and document patient information in the EMR.
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies.
Maintain inventory of office supplies, medical supplies, and pharmaceutical samples; restock as needed.
Ensure sample medications are logged, stored, and distributed according to office policies.
Assist with administrative tasks including faxing, filing, and responding to patient inquiries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operations of the practice.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
