Full Job Description

At Another Broken Egg Cafe, brunch isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are. We are known for our chef-inspired Southern cuisine, craft cocktails, and elevated breakfast, brunch, and lunch experiences served in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Our concept is built around hospitality that goes beyond expectations. We believe in creating memorable moments for every guest — what many call “unreasonable hospitality.” That means anticipating needs before they are spoken, turning ordinary interactions into extraordinary experiences, and empowering our staff to create moments guests never forget.

And because we specialize in breakfast and brunch, we do not operate night shifts — ever. Our staff enjoy evenings with family and friends while working with a high-performing, daytime-focused hospitality team.

As a Expeditor (Expo), you will be one of the driving forces behind the cafe’s success, responsible for helping keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables while ensuring that it has been prepared to Another Broken Egg Cafe standard. We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, organized, and energetic. Our team members must be professional, have great communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a great attitude to ensure a positive guest experience.

Main Responsibilities

Communicate food orders to ensure accurate food preparation (notes from servers, advise of any noted allergies or substitution in food order)
Follows proper plate presentation and garnishes set up for all dishes
Ensure items are prepared properly and on a timely basis, following the standards set by the cafe.
Practice safe food and beverage handling.
Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
Prepares, stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at Expo station to assure smooth service
Opens and closes the kitchen properly by following the checklist procedures
Maintain a clean and presentable work area
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Job Qualifications

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and organization
Must be able to read menu items
Able to reach, bend, stoop and perform cleaning duties.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as required
Must be able to stand and work on feet for 6-8 hours of a shift
Must be able to lift 30+ lbs (required to carry trays and supplies)
Assist in re-stocking & detail cleaning of all aspects of the restaurant.

On our menu, you will find chef-inspired, breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes as well as hand-crafted cocktails, spiked cold brews, mimosas and a full bar.
