Full Job Description

If you are looking for a rewarding position where you can make a difference in the lives of patients, we invite you to apply for the role of Admissions Coordinator.

***MUST be an LPN or RN (and a TEAM PLAYER) to be considered for the position*** Aspen Health and Rehab is a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Broken Arrow and is now under NEW administration. This position handles high volume paperwork and phone calls, so multi-tasking is a must. It is also a desk job, Monday-Friday, but on occasion there may be the need to come in on a Saturday or Sunday to complete an admission with Family. Applicants should be flexible and know that there may be times that will require staying late. Tentative hours are 9am-6pm, but this will be determined during a formal offer of employment.

*Job also requires one day of ON CALL per week and is part of a nurse management team, which means you have additional duties to assist with facility compliance*

```Duties```
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors seeking admission to our facility
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical records and insurance details
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Utilize electronic systems such as PCC and other medical office software to manage patient records and appointments
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly

```Experience```
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as PCC
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
