Assists in the planning, preparation, and execution of performances, rehearsals, academic programming, and special events at Lehman Stages. This role supports the coordination of technical and logistical needs across multiple venues, working closely with Production Services staff, student technicians, and clients to ensure smooth event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in coordinating the technical and logistical aspects of performances, rehearsals, classes, and special events
- Supports event preparation, including setup, breakdown, and space readiness across multiple venues
- Serves as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and communicating event-related information
- Organizes and maintains event-related documentation, including schedules, technical needs, and operational details
- Assists with staffing coordination, including student workers and overhire personnel
- Ensures that technical equipment and systems are prepared and functioning as needed for events
- Supports the operation of lighting, sound, video, and stage equipment during events
- Assists in maintaining inventory and coordinating basic equipment upkeep
- Monitors event execution and supports troubleshooting of technical or operational issues as they arise
- Assists in ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper use of equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in technical theater, event production, or a related field
- Experience supporting live events, performances, or production environments
- Basic working knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and clients
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Represents unit to internal and external organizations and vendors, handling many inquiries independently.
Organizes correspondence, accounts, contracts, and billing for all events.
Creates and distributes marketing communications and materials; create and distribute any required event materials.
Coordinates invitations, reservations, and ticket arrangements as needed; manages travel arrangements and/or special guest requirements.
Assures technology and equipment are available as needed and operate properly.
Collects information to evaluate program/event success, and report results to management.
