Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, 4 years of hands on dental experiance,excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain infection control protocols by following proper aseptic techniques and ensuring the cleanliness of the treatment area.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform basic dental procedures such as preparing the treatment rooms ,taking radiographs (X-rays), strong knowledge of dental procedures., sterilization process and infection control.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote optimal dental health.
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks using Dentrix software.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the practice.

Experience

Previous 4 years of experience as a Dental Assistant is required .
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and dental imaging .
Experience working with pediatric patients , general dentist periodontist, orthodontist.
Knowledge of prosthodontics procedures will be beneficial for this role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing medical records effectively.
