Job Title: Production Assistant

Location: New York, NY (In-Office)

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our

team. In this role, you will work closely with our Sourcing and Production Manager to

facilitate the manufacturing process from initial development through final delivery. The

ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who excels at data management and

thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Purchase Order Management: Responsible for the accurate creation and

maintenance of internal Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring all data aligns with

production requirements and vendor agreements.

 Vendor Management: Assist in maintaining the vendor matrix, tracking factory

capabilities, and ensuring all contact information and compliance certifications

are current.

 Production Tracking: Monitor the production lifecycle and update "Time and

Action" & calendars to ensure all milestones—from fabric sourcing to final

shipment—are met on schedule.

 Communication: Act as a daily liaison with overseas factories and domestic

vendors to follow up on production status, lab dips, and strike-offs.

 Data Maintenance: Ensure all production logs and spreadsheets are kept up-to-

date with accurate information regarding factory allocations and shipment dates.

Qualifications

 Technical Proficiency: * Advanced Excel Skills: Must be very skilled in

Microsoft Excel (data organization, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables).

o A2000 ERP: Direct experience or high proficiency using A2000 software

for style entry and production tracking.

o AI Integration: Experience or familiarity with AI tools for fashion

visualization or workflow optimization is a plus.

 Experience: 0–2 years of experience in fashion production, sourcing, or an

internship within a wholesale environment.

 Education: Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Management, or a related field.

 Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective

professional correspondence with global manufacturing partners. Cantonese

and/or Mandarin a plus.

 Work Style: Ability to work full-time and in-person in a high-energy office

setting.
