Admissions Representative Job Summary:

New York State Licensed and accredited Beauty School located in Levittown, NY is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Admissions Sales Representative to join our team. Candidates must be able to follow-up, take responsibility, and close the entire admissions process. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing them with essential information about our programs and services. You will be responsible for building relationships with students, educating them about their options, and assisting them in making informed decisions regarding their education. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, academic advising or education administration and possess strong public speaking skills and computer skills are a plus.

Levittown, NY

Admissions Representative Responsibilities:

Conduct informational sessions and presentations to prospective students and their families.
Provide academic advising to help students understand program requirements and opportunities.
Utilize CRM software for managing leads and tracking admissions processes.
Engage with potential students through various channels including phone calls, text messaging, emails, and in-person meetings.
Collaborate with administrative departments to ensure a seamless admission experience for students.
Participate in recruiting events, fairs, and community outreach initiatives to promote the university.
Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and follow up as necessary.
Educate potential students on financial aid options, scholarships, and enrollment procedures.

Admissions Representative Qualifications:

Previous experience in academic advising or education administration is preferred.
Familiarity with a CRM system is a plus.
Proven ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to present information clearly and engagingly.
Experience in recruiting or admissions within a school setting is highly desirable.
A passion for helping students achieve their educational goals is essential.
Excellent Verbal Communication Skills must be comfortable on the phone
Ability to work successfully in a results-oriented environment
Dynamic, outgoing, and have a strong focus on customer service
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must possess basic computer skills
