Job Summary
This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop hands-on skills and foundational knowledge in advanced manufacturing processes. You will work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to learn essential techniques, operate industrial equipment, and contribute to the production of high-quality products. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to kickstart a career in manufacturing, combining practical training with real-world application in a dynamic environment.
The Opportunity
This is a fully-funded apprenticeship program designed for emerging leaders ready to launch real careers.
If selected, you will be paid like all other employees and learn on the job under experienced staff. Every hour you work counts toward a nationally recognized credential or journeyman certification. Once earned, that credential is portable. If you change jobs, it goes with you.
Accepted candidates will receive:
- Personalized matching to the right industry and role for you. You will be matched to an employer and work there full time as an employee and Apprentice. We don’t select for you. We provide opportunities, you interview, and we support you once you are matched.
- Real pay from day one of your Apprenticeship. Wage progression built in (the first raise typically comes at the 6 month mark of your Apprenticeship). Starting wage: typically $16–$28/hour depending on your apprenticeship and employer.
- An assigned mentor at your worksite with additional support from the Apprentos team.
- A cohort of Apprentices all selected as future leaders learning alongside you across industries.
- Full-time hours.
- Health benefits through your employer.
- A credential that's yours forever.
Responsibilities May Include
- Assist in setting up and operating manufacturing machinery, including CNC machines, injection molding equipment, and robotic systems.
- Support project scheduling efforts by tracking production timelines and coordinating tasks across teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production issues to identify inefficiencies or defects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAD tools to review schematics, drawings, and design modifications.
- Participate in machining, fabrication, assembly line tasks, and tooling setup to gain comprehensive manufacturing experience.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments while adhering to GD&T standards.
- Assist with electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and maintenance of industrial equipment following safety protocols.
- Support process engineering activities including lean manufacturing practices and ISO 9001 quality standards compliance.
- Engage in welding, plastics injection molding, CAM programming, and robot programming under supervision.
- Contribute to factory safety by maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to safety guidelines related to hand tools, industrial equipment, and factory procedures.

The Application Process
At Apprentos, we believe the job application process is broken. Every day we hear from people who describe spending hours on applications just to get ghosted by employers. We're building something where the process itself respects your time and provides feedback. If you've been ghosted by an employer, or waited weeks to hear back on a job you wanted, or been told to reapply after being rejected without explanation - we are here to be different.
1. Download the Apprentos app and create an account. (Google Play or App Store)
2. Take assessments to be matched to the right industry. Our assessments ask how you think, what you're interested in, and what kind of work environment brings out your best. They source your highest skill areas and tell us (and you) where you'd likely thrive.
Hear back with real feedback. If you're selected for the interview phase, we'll tell you clearly. If you're not this round, you'll get real feedback on your assessments and application. You'll be eligible to apply to future cohorts.
3. Apprentos Interviews: Two phases of interviews with the Apprentos team. If you are not selected for the next round after your first or second interview, receive real feedback you can use for future job interviews or to apply for the next cohort.
4. Match Interviews: Finalists who pass both interview rounds will get matched with employers who are actively hiring in your area. Interview directly with them. You decide if it's a fit. They decide if you're the person. Everybody decides together. If the first one is not a fit, Apprentos will match you with other opportunities. Real interviews leading to a real Apprenticeship.
5. Join the Founding Cohort and Start Your Apprenticeship: All selected Apprentices will be matched with employers. Apprentos stays with you through your Apprenticeship (typically 6months - 2years as a full time employee and apprentice with Apprentos’ extra support). First paycheck within two weeks of Apprenticeship start date. Real benefits. Real wage progression. Real support.

Who We're Looking For
About You
- You're ready to commit to learning something real, showing up consistently, and being held to a standard. You want a career, not just a job. You're interested in the work, not just any paycheck.
- You might have never worked before. You might have worked retail, food service, warehouse, or customer service and felt like there was no path forward. You might have graduated college and are tired of endlessly applying to jobs. You might have tried trade school and found it too expensive. You might be a parent, or supporting family, and need a career that will support you long term. Whatever brought you here, you are applying because you are eager to have meaningful work and start your career.
- What matters: you bring an entrepreneurial spirit, a growth mindset, and genuine desire to grow as an effective leader.
Your Stage
- You're 18 or older. You're authorized to work in the United States. You can get to a job site reliably. (Need transportation support? We will be sure to match you with a job you can reliably get to for work.)
- You don't need experience. You don't need a degree. You don't need to have it all figured out yet. What you do need is readiness to commit fully and the willingness to be trained.
Your Commitment
- You must be able to fully commit to the apprenticeship. That means showing up consistently, being held accountable to real standards, and engaging actively throughout the program.
- You're available to start work full-time in July 2026. You're ready to move beyond applications that ghost you, interviews that lead nowhere, and jobs that don't teach you anything.
The Industries
Once you download the app, you can apply to the Manufacturing cohort or another industry. You could end up training in:
- Healthcare: Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician
- Technology: IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Analyst, Network Support, Junior Systems Administrator
- Skilled Trades: HVAC technician, Manufacturing operator, Production supervisor, Maintenance technician
- Hospitality: Front desk manager, Food & beverage supervisor, Housekeeping supervisor, Guest services specialist
- Food Service: Line cook, Baker, Kitchen supervisor, Production operator
Your assessment and interview determines which fits you best, with your input. Then you're matched with employers actively hiring in that field.
