F02 Certification - Calling ALL F02 Guards

The position is: Full Time
Work Shifts Available: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Overnight
Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan
Workdays Available: Candidates should be flexible, Monday – Sunday
Weekly pay
Pay Rate: $18.87 per hour
Must exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public daily, and will interact with clients and staff
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Perform continuous fire watch patrols throughout shelter premises, particularly when fire detection or suppression systems are non-operational or impaired
Conduct scheduled rounds of all floors, stairwells, exits, common areas, and mechanical rooms
Identify and document fire hazards, obstructions to exits, blocked egress paths, and unsafe conditions
Maintain a written fire watch log recording patrol times, observations, and any incidents or irregularities

Valid NYC FDNY F-02 Fire Guard Certificate of Fitness (required)
Valid NYS Security Guard License — or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and observation skills
