Full Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Dermatology practice that strives to serve patients and the community through exceptional care and patient experience. We are seeking an energetic individual who loves to help others and is excited to help continue to build a forward-thinking practice that provides patients with the highest level of care. The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively interact with a wide range of audiences from scheduling inital appointments to check- out. Additionally, the ideal candidate would build strong rapport with team members, be resourceful and a strong problem solver, multi-task and manage time effectively.

Experience in dermatology and familiarity with a fast-paced medical office is a plus!

Duties of this full-time position would include:

Answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, confirming appointments and educating patients to ensure they are properly prepared for visits.
Greets and receives patients/visitors to practice facility.
Responsible for retail sales of skincare products. Knowledgeable about product usage and application.
Managing office and provider schedules to optimize practice flows.
Verifying insurance coverage, validating referrals and authorizations, collecting patient liability and providing financial guidance to patients.

Education:

High school or equivalent
Some College Preferred but not required.

Experience:

Minimum one-year medical front office experience.
Working knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services
Comfort with PC, iMac, iPad, common office software, word processing and spreadsheet software
Knowledge and experience with EZDERM (Preferred but not required)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
