Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented front desk receptionist for the medical clinic office. In this vital role, you will serve as the central point of contact for patients, providers, and staff, ensuring seamless coordination of all preoperative and postoperative activities. Your energetic approach will help facilitate efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional patient service, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a solid understanding of medical coding, health information management, and electronic health record systems. Responsibilities

Coordinate schedules by managing appointments
Review and verify medical documentation, including care plans, consent forms, and preoperative assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain comprehensive patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies.
Communicate effectively with patients via phone and in person to provide appointment reminders, answer inquiries, and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating proper phone etiquette.
Support clinical staff by reviewing documentation for accuracy, updating electronic health records (EHR), and managing medical records efficiently.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans tailored to each patient’s needs while ensuring all administrative tasks are completed promptly.
Utilize computer skills such as Microsoft Office suite for report generation, data entry, and administrative support tasks related to surgical operations.
Ensure compliance with clinical confidentiality policies during all interactions involving sensitive patient information.
Perform clerical duties including typing, 10-key data entry, scheduling appointments, answering front desk calls, and managing medical office operations smoothly.

Experience

Proven experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment with a focus on surgical coordination or medical administrative support.
Previous experience handling medical billing tasks along with documentation review is advantageous.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Demonstrated clerical skills including typing (with 10-key proficiency), phone communication expertise, and office management experience.
Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA ensures the protection of patient information at all times.
Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
