Overview

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to food safety and sanitizing procedures.

Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to ensure efficient food production.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings innovative and aligned with quality standards.
Oversee food handling practices, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols.
Support kitchen management in shift management duties, including scheduling, training new team members, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in food production within a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or catering experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a culinary environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control techniques.
Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning tailored to diverse dietary needs.
Experience with kitchen management systems, inventory control, and food service management practices.
Ability to lead by example while fostering teamwork among kitchen staff.
