Account Manager – Insurance Sales & Customer Growth

Adam Holtquist State Farm is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager who thrives in a sales-focused environment and is passionate about helping customers protect what matters most. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys building trust, uncovering customer needs, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships.

We are looking for a results-oriented individual who can successfully balance relationship management with proactive sales efforts. If you enjoy working toward goals, growing accounts, and being rewarded for your performance, we'd love to hear from you.

Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date

Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of your start date

Full licensing support, study resources, and onboarding assistance are provided

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships that drive retention, referrals, and agency growth

Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to improve customer protection

Quote, present, and sell auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products

Generate new business through referrals, lead follow-up, networking, and relationship-building

Follow up consistently on sales opportunities and customer inquiries

Assist customers with coverage questions, policy updates, and account management needs

Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track sales activity

Resolve customer concerns professionally while delivering an exceptional customer experience

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with agency and insurance industry standards

What We're Looking For

Sales-driven mindset with a passion for building relationships

Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals

Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship management abilities

Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Ability to confidently recommend solutions based on customer needs

Previous sales, account management, business development, retail sales, or insurance experience preferred
