Join Our Team of Heavy Haul Drivers! US Equipment Sales and Rental is currently seeking experienced Heavy Haul Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Heavy Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting oversized loads and heavy equipment to various destinations safely and efficiently.
Position: Over the road heavy haul truck driver
Pay range: $100,000-$150,000
Position: Full Time
Location: OTR
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and drive heavy haul trucks to transport oversized loads, machinery, and equipment.
· Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
· Secure cargo properly using chains, binders, straps, and other equipment to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
· Plan routes and determine the best course of action, considering factors such as road conditions, weather, and traffic.
· Communicate effectively with dispatcher, customer and other team members.
· Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and delivery times.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years OTR heavy haul experience
· Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record
· Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
· TWIC card
· Valid passport
· Must be willing to stay on the road for 3 weeks at a time.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Experienced with a RGN / Lowboy Multi axles 8 axle RGN up to 13 axle beam
