Full Job Description

101 Studio is seeking a proactive, creative, and highly organized Gallery & Store Assistant to support daily store operations, social media management, e-commerce, business development, and creative projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage social media platforms, including content planning, photography, video creation, posting, audience engagement, and performance tracking.
Build and maintain the 101 Studio Shopify store, including product listings, inventory updates, website content, online orders, and promotional campaigns.
Support business development by identifying and contacting artists, brands, vendors, clients, and potential collaboration partners.
Assist with daily store operations, including sales, customer service, visual merchandising, inventory management, and store organization.
Support exhibitions, pop-up events, workshops, artist collaborations, and other in-store creative programs.
Coordinate project timelines, vendors, materials, installations, and on-site execution.
Create basic marketing and promotional materials using Canva or similar design platforms.
Assist with product photography, social media videos, and other digital content.
Communicate with Mandarin- and English-speaking customers, artists, vendors, and business partners.
Complete additional operational and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
A background in Marketing, Art, Design, Art Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience operating or managing a retail store is strongly preferred.
Experience working in a gallery, art studio, museum, creative retail space, or exhibition environment is preferred.
Experience managing projects, events, exhibitions, or creative collaborations.
Familiarity with Shopify, Instagram, TikTok, Canva, and other digital platforms.
Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable creating social media content and appearing in photos or videos when needed.
Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and take initiative.
Strong interest in art, design, lifestyle products, retail, and creative communities.

Pay: $4,032.89 - $4,500.00 per month
