QUICK OVERVIEW (please read this section to ensure your fit before applying)
Our client is hiring a Business Development Representative for a massive opportunity in the restoration and reconstruction space. This isn't about starting from scratch with cold calls and hoping for the best - this is about leveraging your existing commercial relationships in an industry that's recession-proof, mission-driven, and offers unlimited earning potential.
If you've been selling to property managers, facility operators, or commercial decision-makers and you're ready to take those relationships to a platform that can truly reward your network and hustle, this is your opportunity.
Our client is a leader in the restoration and reconstruction space serving commercial and residential clients across one of the most lucrative markets in the country - New York and New Jersey. For over 50 years, they have served their communities in their time of need when facing disaster.
THE MUST HAVES: 5+ years of B2B sales experience calling on property managers, facility managers, corporate decision-makers, or similar commercial contacts. You don't need to come from restoration - you could be selling cleaning supplies, maintenance services, pest control, technology, or any other B2B product/service to commercial properties. The key is that you understand the commercial property landscape and have the relationships to accelerate your success.
THE WHY: The reconstruction and restoration industry is recession-proof and mission-driven - helping businesses and property owners during crisis moments (floods, fires, mold, emergencies). You'll be taking your commercial expertise into an industry where your skills and relationships can have real impact while maximizing your earning potential.
THE WHERE: New York City (all boroughs) and New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, & Hudson Counties). Only candidates within 20 miles of the territory (or willing to relocate) will be considered.
THE WHO: One of the largest and fastest-growing restoration franchises in the network. Led by an ambitious executive team with a clear mission: to become one of the biggest revenue-generating franchises in the country.
THE HOW: Use your commercial sales experience and existing relationships as rocket fuel in a high-growth environment where your network, skills, and hustle will be properly rewarded with uncapped earning potential.
The base salary is $75,000-$85,000, with uncapped commissions tied to every job closed. Total expected compensation range is $120,000-$200,000+ plus comprehensive benefits, car allowance, phone allowance, and unlimited upside potential.

THE COMPANY & TEAM
Our client is one of the top restoration and reconstruction companies serving one of the most lucrative markets in the United States. Operating across NYC (all boroughs) and Northern New Jersey, this franchise represents massive opportunity and aggressive growth potential.
Even better - it is in an industry that truly serves its community. The restoration and reconstruction industry comes alongside business owners and property managers during unexpected crisis moments - floods, fires, mold, and more. Imagine a hotel that experiences a pipe burst flooding multiple floors, displacing guests and threatening the business. Or an office building fire that forces hundreds of employees out of their workspace.
These are the moments when our client steps in and serves their communities with steadfast service through innovative solutions and comprehensive support to get businesses back up and running.
YOUR DNA
- You are a relationship-first business developer who knows how to build genuine connections with commercial decision-makers. You understand how to get property managers, facility directors, and GMs to take your calls because you've learned to be a resource, not just a vendor.
- You understand that commercial B2B sales is a long-game built on trust, consistency, and solving real problems. You don't just collect business cards - you build relationships with people who trust your recommendations and will take meetings with you because you've earned that credibility.
- You are an entrepreneurial networker who lives and breathes relationship building. You're comfortable at networking events, industry conferences, and local business groups. You genuinely enjoy connecting people and solving problems, and you've built a reputation as someone who delivers value.
- You bring commercial savvy and understand that property managers, facility directors, and GMs care about minimizing risk, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and protecting budgets. You can speak their language and position services as disaster preparedness, not just emergency response.
- You are self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven. You love to win, hate complacency, and will leverage every relationship and opportunity to succeed. You understand that your commercial sales skills and network-building ability are your most valuable assets, and you're looking for the right platform to maximize their potential.
- You are consultative, not transactional. You build partnerships, not just sales. You understand the difference between getting one project and becoming the preferred vendor for a property management company with 50 buildings. You play the long game and think strategically about relationship expansion.
