Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless guest experience during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service, and managing front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while addressing any guest inquiries or concerns.
Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions, including billing and payments.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the hotel services and local attractions.
Assist guests with reservations, changes, or cancellations as needed.
Conduct nightly audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in hotel management software is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
