OASAS Program Manager (CASAC a plus)
Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY
Organization: Park Slope Center for Mental Health (PSCMH)

About Us

Park Slope Center for Mental Health is a New York State-licensed provider offering behavioral health services. In addition to our OMH-licensed programs, we are expanding our substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services under OASAS Part 822. Our mission is to provide accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care to underserved communities in Brooklyn.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated OASAS Manager to lead and support our expanding SUD treatment team. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional (with clinical) expertise in substance use disorders, and the administrative skills to help build and strengthen our OASAS program.

The ideal candidate is passionate about recovery-oriented care, values collaborative leadership, and brings operational insight to support program development and compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the OASAS program, ensuring high standards of care.
Support the implementation and expansion of the SUD treatment program, including policies, workflows, and documentation standards.
Conduct staff performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
Ensure compliance with all OASAS regulations, including clinical documentation, utilization review, and quality assurance.
Participate in audits, inspections, and reporting as required.
Lead or participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and team meetings.
Collaborate with leadership to set clinical priorities, track outcomes, and improve service delivery.
(Provide direct clinical supervision to staff delivering SUD services under OASAS guidelines)

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment
Prior experience in a behavioral health or SUD setting
Strong understanding of OASAS regulations and documentation standards
Demonstrated ability to manage clinical and administrative responsibilities
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience with program development or start-up environments is a plus
Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC or CASAC-Advanced) (Optinal)
