What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

Traveling to customer sites to commission, install and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or control systems
Diagnosing technical issues in the field and implementing solutions aligned with design standards and specifications
Conducting system testing and validation to ensure performance meets customer requirements
Collaborating with manufacturing, design and customer teams to resolve complex technical problems
Using AutoCAD and technical documentation to understand system design and support field modifications
Maintaining accurate records of site visits, issues identified and solutions implemented
Providing technical guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance
Contributing to continuous improvement by feeding field findings back to the engineering and design teams

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

2–5 years of experience in field service, technical support, manufacturing or systems engineering
A background or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
Proficiency with AutoCAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings and design documentation
Hands-on experience with system commissioning, installation or troubleshooting in a manufacturing or field environment
Working knowledge of design standards and testing protocols relevant to your discipline
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues under time pressure
Effective communication with both technical teams and non-technical customers
Willingness to travel regularly across the United States
Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
