Job Summary:

The Cashier/Floor Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing transactions and supporting store operations. This role involves operating cash registers and processing various forms of payment, including cash and credit cards. In addition, the associate will welcome customers, assist with inquiries, and resolve purchase-related issues. Floor responsibilities include maintaining inventory, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive shopping experience

Key Responsibilities:

· Bag and wrap purchased items with care to enhance the customer experience.

· Direct customers to various merchandise within the store to facilitate their shopping experience.

· Maintain a clean and orderly appearance throughout the sales floor to promote a pleasant shopping environment.

· Organize and hang clothing in assigned areas to ensure merchandise is presented attractively.

· Introduce and promote current sales and store promotions to customers.

· Perform other related duties as assigned to support store operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Strong verbal communication abilities for effective interaction with customers and team members.

· Ability to handle U.S. currency accurately, with basic math skills to make change as needed.

· Competence in operating cash registers and other equipment, such as computer like tablets.

· Familiarity with the company’s products, services, and customer-related policies to assist customers effectively.

· Flexibility to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to deliver excellent customer service.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds as needed.

· Availability for an open schedule.

· Capability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

Resumen del puesto:

· Empacar y envolver los artículos con cuidado para mejorar la experiencia del cliente.
· Dirigir a los clientes dentro de la tienda para facilitar su experiencia de compra.
· Mantener una apariencia limpia y ordenada en el piso de ventas.

Requisitos/Calificaciones:

· Disponibilidad para horarios flexibles, incluyendo fines de semana y días festivos.
· Organización y atención al detalle.
