Full Job Description

We are a growing Minnesota-based manufacturing company highly focused on making medical device components, assemblies, and implantable orthopedic devices. We are an FDA-regulated provider of custom products for medical device manufacturers from regional companies to large multinationals that you'll know. The products are diverse, our environment is medical grade, and our workspace is 100% climate controlled. We work mostly with stainless steel and titanium, but other materials as well. We are hiring people to operate CNC Swiss machines from Tsugami, Star, and Citizen; Mills from Haas, Mazak, and Willemin, and electronic discharge machines (EDM) from Fanuc and Agie. We seek people who want to continue to get better at what they do, maybe broaden their machining experience, but most importantly share a commitment to delivering all of the provided requirements precisely. Our products can be implanted in any one of us.

RevZero is hiring 2nd Shift machinists, though our current growth should create opportunities to move to 1st Shift over time. We also won't automatically walk away if your expertise is with other machine brands we don't use. Regardless, all Machinists are responsible for the daily operation of a machine in their area with independence, though with support from other functions like Set-up, Programming, Engineering and Quality Control. Each operator is responsible for ensuring accuracy of every part you make according to clear and detailed specifications provided to you.

Schedule:

10-hour 2nd shift 4-day week Monday thru Thursday 2:30pm- 1:00 am plus shift differential

Qualifications for RevZero's CNC Machinists:

Minimum Requirements- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Two-year certificate in machine trades
Preferred: Two years of experience in CNC Swiss Machining
Experience with reading g-code within Star, Tsugami & Citizen machine controls
Experience achieving and inspecting tight tolerances
At least some knowledge of Vision Systems, CMM and various hand inspection tools
Must have a good command of spoken and written English

Job Functions for RevZero's CNC Machinists:

Operating CNC Machines according to your skills
Knowing machine controls, changing and touching off tools, and making machine offsets based on data from part inspection
Reading and understand dimensional and GD&T print specifications.
Performing in-process inspection per Inspection Plans through use of Microscopes for Visual Verification, Calipers, Micrometers, gaging, vision systems and CMM (including documenting results)
Completing and maintaining records of jobs in real-time as they are running
Completing some deburring operations while machine is cycling
Working efficiently with minimal supervision and as a team member, including providing feedback regarding machine process performance to the team
Performing some machine maintenance as directed at scheduled intervals
Using your working knowledge of health and safety practices that protect yourself and others from physical harm
Identifying opportunities for improvement and bringing ideas to your team for action.
