Full Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned construction company in San Antonio, FL. We are seeking an experienced Construction Staff Accountant who has a strong accounting background and hands-on experience working in the construction industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, family-oriented company where you'll play a key role in managing the company's financial operations while working closely with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting functions using QuickBooks
Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial reports
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of accounting data
Perform accounting tasks related to construction projects and job costing
Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed
Collaborate with management and team members to support daily business operations

Requirements:

5-7 years of accounting experience required
Construction accounting experience is required
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks
Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and financial reports
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
Professional communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
