Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and adherence to safety standards will ensure efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are paramount.

Duties

Operate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools, ensuring accurate production according to technical drawings and specifications
Set up and calibrate machinery such as Fanuc controls, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses for optimal performance
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to determine machining requirements and tooling needs
Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy (GD&T) included)
Troubleshoot mechanical issues on industrial equipment and perform basic repairs or escalate as needed
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications and safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CAM programming tools in a manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Familiarity with Fanuc controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), SolidWorks CAD software, and industrial troubleshooting techniques
Ability to read shop math, perform basic calculations related to machining tolerances, and utilize precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers
Experience with fabrication processes including welding, stamping presses, tooling setup, assembly line operations, and packaging is preferred
Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace
Ability to operate hand tools efficiently and handle materials safely using forklift certification or experience is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing documentation accurately
