HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SHIPPING SUPERVISOR IN BRIGHTON, CO

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Shipping Supervisor to join our client in Brighton, CO. This individual will be responsible for providing supervisory support to the department and assisting other departments as needed. The ideal candidate will possess some previous experience in a distribution center and a high level of computer and WMS system literacy. Apply online and kick-start your career today!

Pay, Schedule, and Location

Starting at $57,784 to $60,000/yearly, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Various shift schedules are available
Located in Brighton, CO

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide supervisory support to the department and assist in other departments as needed.
Supervises the associates in the department, shipping, and office clerks of the warehouse.
Assign duties to employees and schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.
Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties.
Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examine discrepancy reports, and resolve to restore and promote good public relations with the client.
Overall responsibility for the supervision of good sanitation practices throughout the warehouse/offices.
Supervises the practice of seal policies placed on loads.
Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder
Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate.

Requirements and Qualifications

Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and supervise all warehouse data entry programs as directed by the Office Manager.
High level of computer and WMS system literacy.
Some college-level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred.
Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures.
