In-home caregivers can offer both short-term and long-term services, guaranteeing a family’s loved one’s comfort and well-being in the familiar surroundings of their own home, whether their needs call for support over a few months or several years.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales the Events Coordinator serves as a dynamic and passionate ambassador for the company, engaging with community members and potential clients at events to promote CGA services. This position is about building trust, fostering relationships, and making key connections with our market as we seek to deliver compassionate, client-centered service both during and after the active care period.

Key Responsibilities

· Immerse in the community alongside the Business Development Account Manager to represent CGA directly to potential clients through community events, health fairs, networking opportunities, senior-focused gatherings, and outreach initiatives with the sole focus on promoting our services and opportunities to support their needs within their homes. Always considering, “How can we support and delight them?”

· Serve as a visible and engaging ambassador for CGA by coordinating, attending, and supporting community marketing events that strengthen brand awareness, build relationships, and generate prospective client leads.

· Be a Compassionate Expert in identifying the needs of prospective clients, communicating how we can assist in fulfilling those needs, and ensuring smooth continuity with the appropriate Intake team member.

· Meet targets as established by the Client Experience Manager for participation in events, community outreach initiatives, lead generation activities, and follow-up with prospective clients.

· Proactively nurture relationships by staying attuned to community dynamics and emerging needs, leveraging feedback from events and outreach efforts to tailor engagement strategies and ensure every interaction reflects CGA’s commitment to excellence.

· Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline communication, coordinate event participation, and share key insights gathered through community engagement to further enhance responsive and personalized client support.

· Assist in planning and executing community engagement activities, including event preparation, promotional outreach, and relationship-building efforts with local organizations, senior communities, and referral partners.

· Maintain records of all client interactions, event participation, outreach activities, and follow-up communications; submit weekly activity reports, keep detailed logs and notes on calls, and inform management of leads/referrals converted into active clients.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent is generally required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field is preferred.

· Minimum 2+ years of progressive experience in customer service, healthcare sales, community outreach, event coordination, or relationship management.

· Experience participating in or coordinating community events, networking activities, or public-facing outreach initiatives preferred.

· In-depth knowledge of working with and supporting seniors and their needs in the home and in their communities.

Skills & Competencies:

· Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences in community and event settings.

· Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and meaningful connections through outreach and events.

· Strong organizational and event coordination skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple outreach activities simultaneously.

· Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think proactively and adapt quickly in dynamic community environments.

· Flexible and able to multi-task with strong time management skills.

· Team player with a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and consistent follow-through.

· Capable of working independently while exercising discretion and sound judgment.

· Comfortable representing the organization at public events, networking functions, and community engagements.

Work Environment

· This position requires 100% travel to and participation in community marketing events, networking functions, health fairs, senior community activities, and other outreach initiatives that advance lead generation and community engagement. Reliable transportation is required for fulfilling the responsibilities of the role and may involve occasional evening or weekend work.

· Positivity, professionalism, and a commitment to operational excellence — along with a willingness to work cross-functionally — are critical to ensuring each client experiences the “best in-home care services” each day.

· This position is designated as an in-person role.
