As a Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail grocery location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and merchandise locations to help support loss prevention efforts and maintain order throughout the location.
Assist with access control, de-escalation, and coordination with store leadership and/or first responders during medical, fire, or other emergency-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
