Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with energy, precision, and passion. Your leadership will drive culinary excellence across all service areas, including fine dining, catering, and banquet events. Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a motivated and cohesive team focused on high-quality food service.
Oversee food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet established standards for presentation, taste, and consistency.
Manage inventory control and food management processes to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste.
Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment compliant with health regulations.
Coordinate menu planning and recipe development for various service formats including fine dining, catering, and banquets.
Supervise shift management activities to ensure smooth operations during busy periods; handle staffing schedules and training needs.
Oversee catering events and banquet setups, ensuring timely execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Monitor cost control measures related to food production and labor to maximize operational efficiency.
Maintain strong leadership in managing teams as a chef while promoting hospitality values across the department.
Ensure compliance with all food handling regulations and safety standards throughout the kitchen.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service management with a strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet operations.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential.
Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and overall health regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control and cost management effectively.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations efficiently.
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
