Senior Project Manager, Public Works & Local Infrastructure, Brownsville, TX
Halff has an opening for a Senior Civil Engineer, with their Texas PE License, to be a Senior Project Manager on our growing Public Works & Local Infrastructure team based out of our Brownsville, TX office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 10 years of experience in utility and public works design, local infrastructure, public works, municipal roadway, trails, drainage, and land development projects. This position requires strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with public entities. This role will have a large amount of autonomy in managing engineers-in-training and CAD designers. What you will do:
- Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of public works, local infrastructure, municipal roadway, trails, drainage, and land development projects.
- Conduct and manage design and plan production.
- Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
- Provide training/mentorship of other engineers.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas
- At least 10 years of experience in utility and public works design, local infrastructure, public works, municipal roadway, trails, drainage, and land development projects
- South Texas regional experience preferred
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Must be proficient in project management, administration and supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
- Positive attitude, self-directed required
- AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD experience preferred
