Pride Roofing Xperts is one of the fastest-growing residential and commercial roofing companies in South Texas. We specialize in residential roofing, commercial roofing, storm restoration, insurance claims, metal roofing, repairs, and light construction.

We're looking for a leader who wants to become the operational backbone of our company. This isn't just another project manager position—it's an opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as our company continues to expand.

Previous roofing experience is a plus—but it isn't required. If you've successfully managed leading people, solving problems, improving systems, and taking ownership, we want to hear from you.

JOB SUMMARY

The Operations & Production Manager is responsible for leading the company's Production Department from the moment a contract is signed until the project is completed, closed out, and the customer is completely satisfied.

This position oversees production, scheduling, field operations, customer communication, technical production support, and operational efficiency. The Operations Manager manages the production process and the team—they do not replace the specialists already in place.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations leadership

Lead the daily operations of the production department.
Conduct daily production meetings.
Ensure projects move efficiently from contract to completion.
Hold team members accountable for deadlines, communication, and performance.
Improve systems, SOPs, and operational efficiency.
Report weekly operational KPIs directly to the owner.

Production Oversight

Oversee production schedules and job readiness.
Verify projects are ready before crews are dispatched.
Coordinate with Production Administration to ensure materials, permits, inspections, and scheduling are completed.
Manage production capacity and workflow.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and production delays.

Team Leadership

Provide leadership and support for:

Production Administration
Field Superintendent
Estimating Department
Insurance Administration

This position manages departments and removes obstacles—it does not replace the responsibilities of those team members.

Technical and Estimating Support

Serve as the primary technical resource for the estimating and sales teams.
Review complex residential projects and all commercial projects before customer presentation.
Ensure scopes of work are complete, accurate, and can be built efficiently.
Answer technical installation questions from estimators and sales representatives.
Assist with production planning on specialty and commercial projects.
Help improve estimating standards and production procedures.

Customer Experience

Handle production-related customer concerns.
Visit job sites when necessary.
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
Ensure customers receive proactive communication throughout production.

Field Operations

Visit job sites regularly.
Support the Field Superintendent.
Coordinate subcontractors when necessary.
Assist with production-related change orders.
Ensure company quality standards are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Minimum 5 years of construction management, operations, or production leadership experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Comfortable using technology, spreadsheets, and project management software.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

Roofing experience.
Construction management experience.
General contracting experience.
Commercial construction knowledge.
Bilingual (English & Spanish).

*Roofing experience is preferred but not required. Leadership, accountability, organization, and operational thinking are more important than knowing every roofing system.*
