Full Job Description

The new food trailer will be located next to our gas station and convenience store on Boca Chica Blvd. The area has steady traffic at all hours due to construction crews and shift workers, including early morning and late night.

The trailer will operate 24/7, serving RGV-style breakfast tacos, Mexican food, and coffee. Customers pay inside the store rather than at the trailer, so the kitchen team will not handle money and can focus on cooking.

This role is responsible for building the kitchen operation from the ground up: developing the menu, sourcing suppliers, hiring and training kitchen staff, and setting up prep and food safety procedures. Some inventory may be sourced from the adjacent convenience store.

The trailer is expected to arrive in approximately 8 weeks. Menu development, hiring, and system setup need to be completed before then. Once open, the kitchen runs 24/7, so the first several months will require long and irregular hours, including some overnight shifts.

This role reports to the store's General Manager, who handles hiring paperwork and payroll. The Kitchen Manager has full authority over kitchen staffing and daily operations. The owner will be actively involved throughout the launch.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,300.00 per week
